First Wheelchair Lacrosse Camp Ever!!!
So it’s official! We are holding the First Wheelchair Lacrosse Camp powered by Adrenaline Lacrosse on March 20-21, 2010 in San Jose, CA. We are still working on the details, but here is what we have lined up so far:
- Kick ass goodie bag
- Two days of instruction and scrimmaging
- Camp is limited to the first 20 people to insure that everybody gets great coaching
- Coaching from NCAA or Pro level player/coaches
- Giveaways and more…
Keep checking back for the latest details. We’ll provide a link for the camp registration when it’s posted on the Adrenaline Lacrosse website. We’ll also have equipment deals through South Swell Sports for those of you that want to buy their own gear before the camp.
We’re really excited about the camp!!! We hope you are too!
Scrimmage dates and times for the last week of October
We’re back at it again, playing on Thursday (29th) and Sunday (31st). We’ll be playing at 6:30pm this Thursday at Christ Lutheran Church in La Mesa. The address is 7929 La Mesa Blvd and we’ll be using the gym there. Now we just need more people for each day. Sunday we’ll be doing the usual. Playing at 10am at the 4S Ranch Sports Park @ 16118 4S Ranch Parkway which is at the second parking lot.
We had 10 people playing on Sunday, which was awesome. We need just a few more bodies to go full court. We’re working on getting some more people to come out and play with us, but we need you to talk with your friends about coming out to play with us. That’s the only way we can make this thing grow!
Bring your friends, enemies, in a chair or able-bodied so we can get some full court play going. And as always, please let us know if you’ll be playing with us so we bring all of the gear and have enough chairs to go around. We’re having more able bodied players than wheelchair players right now. It would be great to switch that to have more wheelchairs playing with us again. We’re working on some exciting new competitions, but we need to bring up the number of wheelchairs that are actually playing with us.
Hope to see everybody soon.
Article in the Access Anything newsletter
Our friends at Access Anything did an article about wheelchair lacrosse in their Fall Newsletter. I’m sure we’ll get some great exposure from it.
